The Best Practices for Ministry Network (BPMN) is a voluntary association of churches committed to helping identify, nurture and share practices that are characteristic of excellence in ministry.

The network began in 2006, and consists of a number of Baptist congregations in Georgia, primarily central to northern Georgia. The founding leaders of BPMN created a network that provides support and community, recognizes the unique character and mission of local congregations, and offers a way to collect and share approaches to ministry that represent the best of practices.

At its core, the network is a celebration of the unique and quality approaches to ministry that are borne out of local church ministry.

Through online collaboration and regular thematic events, these congregations work together to support these core values;

  • To serve the needs of local congregations.
  • To strive for excellence and quality in relationships and resources.
  • Our organization is simple and transparent.
  • We are transdenominational in the way we approach opportunities, materials and resources.
  • We seek to be a catalytic force for local church ministry.
