disaster.1Tornado season is already upon us, and hurricane season is fast approaching. Yet there are also other disasters that unfortunately can occur year-round. Chemical spills, a shooter on a nearby campus, fires... these are just some of the tragic events where your church may want to offer relief, comfort and care.

In our March web conference, Tommy Deal led participants from BP Network churches in a conversation about best practices for preparing for disaster response. Tommy has been part of response efforts in Florida during the aftermath of several hurricanes, and now plays a role with disaster response with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
